Most of my commissions come from all over the country so I do them from photographs. I learned to do portraits in college with live models and I enjoy doing them that way. This afternoon I asked my wife to sit for a painting. I enjoyed just being free with my brush and I really feel I portrayed her as she really is. I loved doing it.
